Targeting MN and Maine

To: Sen. Justice, Sen. Capito, Rep. Moore

From: A constituent in Parkersburg, WV

January 24

The Pew Research Center states that there are approximately 130,000 undocumented immigrants living in the state of Minnesota. In the State of Maine there are 5000 to 6000 undocumented immigrants. By contrast, there are 2.1 million such immigrants in the State of Texas and approximately 1 million in the State of Florida. So why are there so many federal agents being sent to Minnesota and Maine? It makes no sense. It leads me to infer that this administration is targeting these states in an attempt to intimidate the people there. That is likely because this administration doesn't like the state officials in charge of Minnesota and Maine, hardly a justifiable reason to bully the pe ople who live there. People in those states have a constitutionally protected right to protest. Blowing whistles or photographing these agents does not constitute domestic te rrorism. This is shameful. You should be concerned and should be acting to curtail this violence. Instead, all I see and hear from you is how great this President is and how wonderful things are in our country. This is tragic and you are complicit. Please do something other than cheerleading for this president.
