It’s time to turn the volume all the way up.
The economic data is in. The job market is collapsing under Trump’s authoritarian grip, and the so-called “businessman president” is driving the country into recession while his enablers in Congress pretend it’s just weather. California, with the fourth-largest GDP in the world, will weather this storm. But the same cannot be said for the red states that rely on federal assistance and produce only outrage and obstruction in return.
We need our Democratic leaders — especially you — to stop pulling punches. Your social media channels should be absolutely relentless. No more mild posts or neutral tones. Start hammering the facts, daily, hourly, minute-by-minute:
• Trump is wrecking the economy.
• California will survive — red states will suffer.
• His trade wars, tariff insanity, and fake populism are destroying working families.
• Republicans built this collapse. Now they’re trying to dodge the blame.
Your memes should be sharp. Your messaging should be aggressive. The right has no shame — why are we still playing polite? The American people are scared. They’re being lied to. You have a platform and a spine. Use both.
This is not the time to “stay presidential.” It’s time to go on offense.
