Congress needs to act now to stop Trump Media from turning the presidency into a revenue stream. Selling privileged access to presidential communications is a corruption of public office, plain and simple. No company tied to a sitting president should be allowed to profit from insider information that belongs to the American people. This isn't a gray area. When a president's financial interests are directly tied to decisions that affect the entire country and global markets, every policy call becomes suspect. The conflict of interest is built into the business model. Congress has the authority to close this door before it becomes standard practice, and the time to do it is before this scheme gets off the ground.
