Israel has intercepted nearly all vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla, a peaceful humanitarian mission to bring aid into famine-stricken Gaza despite Israel’s illegal blockade. Israel has detained 497 activists from 46 countries, including 22 American citizens, in international waters. This is a breach of international law. These activists are not criminals — they are delivering food and medicine to Gaza where famine has been declared. I am calling on you to immediately speak up and demand Israel release them, end the blockade and allow them to bring aid safely into Gaza. This is a crisis and the world is watching what we do.
