Stop funding conflicts lacking clear, rational causes

To: Sen. Husted, Rep. Davidson, Sen. Moreno

From: A constituent in Cincinnati, OH

March 19

Why is it that our government can find money for an unexplained war but cannot provide basic healthcare for the people? How did we become a country that believes dropping explosives and killing innocent people is the best way to solve our differences? Where is the fiscal responsibility? We are causing destruction and death to our neighbors. Innocent people are dying because of this war. Murder and destruction is not conflict resolution. This trajectory is alienating our country and is definitely not benefiting the taxpayers. It is making our lives less safe.  Our money should not be used in this way. Congress should stop the war and work to provide the US citizens with clean water, infrastructure, education, food security, safety and healthcare. Work for the people!
