Resign. Not as a political talking point, but as a matter of democratic legitimacy. Two independent polls — Reuters/Ipsos and Economist/YouGov — both place your approval at 33%, the lowest of either of your terms. Sixty-three to sixty-four percent of Americans disapprove of your performance. You do not have the country's support, and you have not earned the right to continue governing it. The numbers inside those polls are even more damning. Only 14% of Americans strongly approve of your tenure — down 12 points since February 2025. Your own base is abandoning you. The Iran war failed. It spiked oil prices, drove up food costs, and handed Democrats their first lead over Republicans on economic trust in nearly a decade. Your endorsed candidates are losing primaries. Your theory of governing — energize the base, ignore everyone else — has collapsed under the weight of your own record. This country deserves leadership that commands genuine public confidence. You no longer have it. Step down.
