The Big Beautiful Bill will increase the debt by $2.3 trillion over 10 years. That will trigger as much as $500 billion in Medicare cuts starting as soon as 2026. How can you sneak in future cuts like this when it’s already guaranteed to increase the deficit 3.8 trillion dollars. These cuts were a bad idea when they were first implemented. Renewing them now with the current changes is just disastrous for the majority of your constituents. Look out for the many who are already feeling the financial pressures exacerbated by the administration’s economic policies. The influential few don’t need the extra resources.
