Sen. Luján and others just reintroduced the High Court Gift Ban Act, capping Supreme Court gifts at $50/instance, $100/year, and closing the loophole that let Justices take free yacht trips & private jet flights from billionaires. These are the same rules Congress is supposed to follows, and would close a major source of potential corruption and quid pro quo rulings from the court. In a world of lifetime appointments, preventing material bribery becomes paramount. I call on you as my elected official to support this bill and make the court face the same restrictions you do.
