I'm writing today to express my disgust with the direction of the current administration. The cruelty, the lack of habeas corpus and the lies are enough already. You know, somewhere within you, that this is nonsense. I'm appealing to that sense of "right" today. No person, in this country legally or not, born here or not, should be without due process by the courts. Most especially, citizens should be protected by this. I would hope, despite whatever Donald Trump's regime has on you that had been swaying you his direction, that you will start standing up. Resisting what you know to be wrong. Doing what the majority of your constituents want you to do- and that is be fair, and morally guided. I hope you've enjoyed your term in Congress, because I very much look forward to voting against you in the next election. Despite the gutting of the FEC, I trust that we the people will hold your feet to the fire. That you will abide by what your constituents want, and overwhelmingly, that is to grow a spine and hold Donald Trump accountable for his actions in EVERY way.
