At Glendale Memorial Hospital, Ms. Milagro Solis Portillo is being terrorized by ICE and its deputies who are staking out what should be a refuge of safety and healing. Dignity Health have even denied entry to her immigration attorney. California needs to urgently tighten its sanctuary law so that hospitals remain safe places from the Trump administration’s historic and inhumane attacks on Latinos and other undocumented people.
