I have grave concerns about the potential conflicts of interest and security risks posed by Elon Musk's personnel seeking access to the Treasury Department's payment systems. As an unelected private citizen with concerning connections to foreign adversaries and no security vetting, Mr. Musk should not be granted the ability to influence or monitor government financial flows, especially those involving Social Security, Medicare, tax credits, and payments to contractors. This system disburses trillions of dollars annually and handles highly sensitive data - allowing a private company beholden to its shareholders rather than the public good to access it would be an unacceptable breach. I urge you to immediately deny any requests from Mr. Musk's team and uphold proper oversight to protect this critical infrastructure from outside interference driven by personal interests rather than serving all Americans.
