The president has declared war and yet he sits in the oval office talking about new drapes for the “new” east wing. The White House is managed by the National Park Service (NPS). The NPS under the National Historic Preservation Act must follow a process for changes to the White House. The National Capital Planning Commission needs to evaluate all major projects in the Capital Region including work on the White House complex. Please provide me to me the information of this review and other reviews and input by other organizations such as the CFA, NEPA, ACHP and SHPO. I want to know EXACTLY WHAT DOCUMENTS exist for these reviews, coordination, and approval. I don’t want your opinion, I want an answer. Measuring for new drapes when there was no coordination on the destruction is ridiculous.
