Reinstate Enumeration Beyond Entry program for accessible Social Security

To: Sen. Bennet, Rep. Boebert, Sen. Hickenlooper

From: A verified voter in Keenesburg, CO

March 20

The Social Security Administration has recklessly and callously suspended the Enumeration Beyond Entry program without any public announcement, forcing millions of authorized workers and newly naturalized citizens to visit hopelessly overburdened SSA offices annually. This reprehensible and infuriating policy shift is an outrageous and unforgivable attack on vulnerable populations and will create a nightmarish bureaucratic gridlock denying access to earned benefits. The agency's own dire predictions of 160,000 additional weekly visitors descending upon their dwindling facilities guarantee complete systemic meltdown and utter chaos. No one will be spared from interminable delays and denials as this catastrophic and unconscionable policy imposes outrageous and intolerable obstacles. This destructive and contemptible course must be reversed immediately to avoid sabotaging the very purpose of Social Security. The EBE program and reasonable accommodations for all must be reinstated without delay to restore access and integrity to the system as it was intended, or the consequences will be disastrous and unforgivable.
