I am writing once again, to express my sheer outrage and horror at what ICE and CBP are doing to our communities, currently in Charlotte. They are acting with seeming impunity, targeting citizens and noncitizens alike, smashing windows, thrusting guns in onlookers faces, and ignoring all law and due process. Americans don’t want this and we will not tolerate it any longer. ICE and CBP need to be reined in and held accountable for their lawlessness and brutality. I will never forget this moment in our history, and I will never forgive the lawmakers that allowed it to happen. ICE and CBP have to be stopped.
