Congestion pricing

To: Gov. Hochul, Sen. Jackson, Assembly Member De Los Santos

Hello. I’m incredibly disappointed that you reneged on congestion pricing. We had the chance to be leaders in addressing climate change in NYC while generating much needed revenue for the MTA. Now it seems your plan is to punish local business owners with more taxes? The rent is already too high for many. Each day in Inwood businesses are closing because they can’t afford the rent up here anymore, nevermind further south. I’m not sure what the logic is here. Helping visitors from upstate and NJ while harming local NYC residents will likely not help chances for reelection. Please reconsider. Thank you. Melisa
