Sir,
Yesterday, President Trump accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of starting the war in Ukraine.
I quote in case you missed it.
“Today I heard, ‘Oh, we (Ukraine) weren’t invited’ [to Tuesday’s talks between the US and Russia]. “Well, you’ve been there for three years. You should have ended it three years. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal.”
And
“This could have been settled very easily. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal. You could have made a deal for Ukraine. That would have given them (Russia) almost all of the land, everything, almost all of the land – and no people would have been killed, and no city would have been demolished.”
In effect, if Zelensky had just surrendered to the invasion in February-March 2022, then there would have been no destruction of Ukraine or purposeful targeting of civilian targets and the subsequent Ukrainian civilian deathes and injuries by Russian air and artillery armaments.
What do you have to say, sir?
Do you agree with these statements?
Your silence is tacit acquiescence to this clear Russian disinformational talking point.
When can we expect you to hold town halls in Texas to present your positions to your constituents?
