An Open Letter

To: Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Scanlon

From: A verified voter in Garnet Valley, PA

August 3

I am writing to express my strong opposition to the confirmation of Todd Blanche as Attorney General. Elevating a quintessential "yes man" to lead the Department of Justice poses a direct threat to the integrity of our legal system. An Attorney General must be an independent guardian of the Constitution and the rule of law, answerable to the American people rather than to any single political figure. Mr. Blanche’s career and his track record demonstrate that he is wholly inadequate for this vital role, functioning instead as a partisan loyalist willing to subvert institutional norms for personal and political patronage. Entrusting the nation's highest law enforcement office to someone whose primary qualification is unwavering personal compliance sets a dangerous and destructive precedent. The Department of Justice requires principled leadership and unyielding independence, not an administrator ready to execute political agendas at the expense of justice. I urge you to reject this nomination and protect the integrity of our democratic institutions.
