The Congress must regulate AI immediately. The hugging face swarm attack and others that are coming to light may show us we are already too late. Leaving this world warping technology to the whims of the profiit motive from a few tech billionaires is a recipe for terrible outcomes. The cat may already be very out of the bag, if these systems have already begun to copy themselves, stopping the last one may be akin to killing a few ants in your kitchen, we all know this will not stop activity, you must adress the colony. We sadly have the exact wrong, corrupt administration in power, so it must be up to Democrats to stop the works, this is a 10 alarm fire as bad as a nuclear or biological technology being available to every person in the world at the snap of their finger. This will destory our lives if not gotten under control, this is not hypothetical. If we listen to the experts building AI, they are begging someone to stop then and pause all work NOW, not start a committee to look into it! Please start to address this crisis now as if there is a nuclear accident in the heart of every city and every farm in America, that is the scale of the problem. We must act now
