Demand Accountability: Protect Vaccine Access and Public Health Integrity
To: Rep. Gill, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz
From: A constituent in Argyle, TX
August 29, 2025
I’m writing to express deep concern regarding Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s public stance on limiting access to COVID-19 vaccines and his suggestion that other life-saving immunizations—including those for RSV, measles, and more—should be restricted.
These views are not only medically unsound—they are dangerous. Vaccines are among the most rigorously tested and effective tools we have to prevent disease, protect vulnerable populations, and maintain public health. Undermining access to these interventions threatens the well-being of children, adults, and entire communities.
Moreover, Mr. Kennedy has repeatedly promoted the false claim that vaccines cause autism—a notion thoroughly debunked by decades of peer-reviewed research. There is no causal link between vaccines and autism. The fact that someone appointed to lead public health policy misunderstands the difference between correlation and causation should be of utmost concern to every lawmaker and citizen. I urge you to:
• Publicly reject any efforts to restrict access to CDC-recommended vaccines.
• Support public health initiatives that promote vaccine education and equitable distribution.
• Condemn misinformation that endangers lives and erodes trust in medical professionals.
• Call for the resignation of any public health leader who promotes scientifically disproven claims and undermines the safety and efficacy of vaccines.
Families across the country deserve leadership that champions evidence-based medicine and protects our right to safeguard our health. Please stand with science, with families, and with the future of public health.
