Convene hearings on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s conduct as Health Secretary and begin removal proceedings. A newborn and a child are dead from measles in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania — both unvaccinated, both from an active outbreak — and the person responsible for national public health responded by spreading misinformation and accusing the governor of fabricating the deaths. The baby's own parents, an Amish family who had no idea their son's death had become a political football, said without hesitation that measles killed him. His mother contracted the virus during the local outbreak, became so ill she couldn't speak above a whisper, and went into labor unable to breathe. Kennedy's response was to cast doubt on that reality on social media. That is not a policy disagreement. That is a public health official actively undermining the public health response to a disease we had nearly eliminated. This cannot be allowed to continue. Hold hearings, put Kennedy's record on the record, and pursue every available mechanism to remove him from a position he is using to get children killed.
