From one christian mother to another I am asking you to help free Liam Conejo Ramos from the detention center where he and his father Adrian are being held. DHS might have the legal authority to detain a preschooler, but that doesn’t make it moral. 31 people died in ICE custody in 2025. 6 have died so far in 2026. How then could a child ever be safe in a detention center? In the book of Matthew chapter 8 Jesus says, “And whoever welcomes one child like this in My name welcomes Me.” He goes on to warn, “But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me—it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea!” Christ will not bless us as a nation if we are causing harm to innocent children. Christ doesn’t see their legal status. He sees their innocent hearts. Our hearts should be broken for Liam and all children being held in detention centers. Their souls and the soul of our nation hang in the balance. I pray that you have the courage to speak up for Liam and all the innocent children caught in the crossfire of our broken immigration system. You have my prayers and sincere thanks.
