Defense Secretary’s misuse of Signal must end.

To: Rep. Crane, Sen. Gallego, Sen. Kelly

From: A constituent in Kearny, AZ

April 21

The repeated sharing of sensitive military operational details on unauthorized communications channels raises serious concerns about the potential compromise of national security information. Such actions not only put our troops at risk but also undermine the integrity of operational planning and decision-making processes. To maintain the confidentiality of classified data and ensure the safety of our service members, it is imperative that all discussions involving classified or sensitive material strictly adhere to established protocols and approved secure methods of communication. Failure to do so jeopardizes operational success and could have severe consequences. Appropriate measures must be taken to prevent any further breaches and restore confidence in the handling of protected information at the highest levels of leadership. Our armed forces and intelligence personnel put their lives on the line in service to our nation, and we owe it to them to safeguard the sensitive data that enables their missions.
