Stop Trump’s $10 Billion IRS Heist!
This isn’t a lawsuit, it is an attempted $10 billion transfer from taxpayers to Trump.
President Donald Trump is suing the IRS and Treasury for at least $10 billion over leaks of his tax returns, and he wants that money from taxpayers, not from the leaker (who went to prison). It’s a scam — he filed 4 years past the statute of limitations and could never show billions in damages from us seeing proof he paid no income taxes.
He is both the plaintiff asking for a massive payout and the president overseeing the Justice Department lawyers who decide whether to fight or quietly settle his case. Legal experts and members of Congress warn this could become a “collusive” lawsuit where Trump’s own administration agrees to hand him billions in public funds.
But he’s gunning for a settlement before the judge can rule and throw the scam case out May 26. This is Trump fleecing Americans and imperiling our country.
If Trump can pressure his own government into settling this case, it will create a blueprint for him to sue the other agencies he controls and pay himself off with our money.
We demand that acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Treasury Secretary Bessent:
• Publicly commit to defending this case aggressively and reject any settlement that sends taxpayer dollars to Trump.
• Turn the case over to truly independent counsel and support congressional action to bar any sitting president from personally cashing in on lawsuits against the federal government.
Our tax dollars are for schools, roads, and public services, not for a president’s private bailout. Tell them to stop this heist before it happens.
