Prevent ICE Co-working space expansion in NYC

**Oppose ICE Co-Working Space Expansion in New York**
I'm writing to ask you to block ICE from leasing co-working space in New York as part of the agency's nationwide expansion plan. ICE recently released a Request for Information seeking flexible workspace for over 300 personnel across almost 100 cities in 42 states, including locations in New York. This co-working strategy would allow ICE to drop personnel into fully furnished offices on just a few weeks' notice, then scale up or relocate just as fast.
This represents a dangerous escalation in enforcement infrastructure. Unlike traditional office leases that require public notice and community input, co-working arrangements let ICE embed agents in commercial spaces alongside private companies with minimal transparency. New Yorkers deserve to know when federal immigration enforcement is operating in their neighborhoods.
You have the power to prevent this expansion. Introduce legislation prohibiting state and local cooperation with ICE co-working arrangements, including barring landlords from leasing to ICE in buildings that receive state tax incentives. Push for full disclosure requirements so communities know when ICE is operating nearby. The deadline for vendor responses is March 31st, which means ICE could begin signing leases soon after. Act now to protect New York communities from this rapid, secretive expansion of immigration enforcement.
