Congress has the constitutional authority and must vote to disband and end Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by passing legislation that would abolish this divisive and hostile agency and pass the more mundane immigration tasks to other agencies federally. We have seen the violence and the vile cruelty ‘agents’ have used to capture innocent civilians (adults, teens, children and babies) who have been harmed and traumatized while being chased or hurt when cruelly being beaten and dragged from their place of work, home, schools, daycares, churches and court rooms. We have witnessed civilians and citizens outright chased and murdered: Renee Good, Keith Porter, Geraldo Lunas Campos. This is not our America. It is not a just or truthful use of funding for Americans and the ICE agency is inherently corrupt as we see it (if it ever was ‘just’ to begin with as a ‘politicized’ temporary task force). It is a literal farce. Disband ICE now.
