I am disgusted as a Texan, as a queer voter, and as a transgender person that your Republican colleagues have put in place anti-trans provisions in the latest reconciliation bill. Please pay attention to the lines that state that prescriptions for HRT and gender-affirming surgeries are to be banned for ALL transgender US citizens, adults and minors alike. Please pay attention to the fact that there is a clearly-stated exception for cisgender US citizens.
