Today is a very somber day. And as I think about all the lives that were lost that day, I can’t help but think about how Ukraine is now in its 5th year of being attacked every day by terrorists. Back then, not only did NATO come to the aid of the United States, but so did Ukraine. Their service members gave their lives to make the world a safer place. Now, we are either afraid, or sometimes even downright malicious when responding to their requests for help. This is truly shameful!! Therefore I wanted to say thank you for the times when you stood up to support aid to Ukraine, let you know that I remember when you didn’t, and, finally, encourage you to do more. Ukraine came to our aid when we were attacked. We owe them at least that much.
