Todd Blanche’s formal written statement rescinding the $1.776 billion slush fund does not make him qualified to be Attorney General. He got caught doing something unethical and improper. Belatedly cancelling it under pressure does not change that he sought to do it. This is just another among a myriad of reasons to not confirm him.
