In case you missed it, Trump phoned into Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino's podcast and declared AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES that elections, which according the Constitution are the responsibility of each state, should be nationalized, i.e. put under HIS authority, and his political party should just take over all elections across the country. His justification is the baseless claim that illegal immigrants are brought into the country to vote, and that voter fraud is rampant. The fact is that voter fraud is very rare. The states have been doing this a long time, and they know how to do it. Mere suggestion of such by any President, who is sworn to uphold the Constitution, should in itself be an impeachable offense and grounds for immediate removal from office.
