The SAVE Act represents a severe overreach of government power that threatens to criminalize constitutionally protected voting practices under the guise of public safety. Its vague language risks restricting voting rights by giving law enforcement sweeping authority to monitor and prosecute activists and voters. Rather than ensuring fair elections, the SAVE Act raises disturbing parallels to historical voter suppression tactics. We must decisively reject any legislation that undermines core civil liberties and democratic freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.
