Reduce parking requirements for data center developments

To: Gov. Kemp

From: A verified voter in Canton, GA

September 25

Local codes typically require a set number of parking spaces per square foot of building. A data center has almost no employees & does not need a parking lot, but if a facility has to meet a standard parking requirement, the impervious footprint balloons. That means stormwater runoff, pollution, and heat. Please work to reduce parking requirements for data center developments and save our land and water.
