I am writing to urge immediate and decisive oversight regarding credible allegations of presidential war crimes and ongoing threats of further violations of international law.
No office is above the law. The Constitution, the War Powers Clause, and international agreements to which the United States is a party impose clear limits on the conduct of war. Failure to investigate and act in the face of potential violations undermines our legal system, endangers global stability, and erodes public trust.
I respectfully request that Congress:
• Initiate a full, independent investigation
• Hold public hearings to establish facts
• Enforce accountability consistent with U.S. and international law
History will judge the integrity of this moment. Silence or inaction is complicity.
