Please vote no on the “Big Beautiful Bill.” It is anything but beautiful. Millions of Floridians will lose Medicaid coverage. Even more will lose access to health care when hospitals currently kept afloat by Medicaid reimbursements are forced to close their doors. Unemployment will rise and the number of those in need will continue to grow. For a party claiming fiscal responsibility, this budget explodes the deficit while cutting essential services to millions of the most vulnerable including children and seniors. Cutting SNAP benefits and creating even more food insecurity while offering tax breaks to the wealthiest in our country is simply immoral.
