You gave Trump permission for his illegal, unnecessary un-Constitutional war. According to Popular Information’s newsletter: More than 1,500 people have died, including over 100 school children and 13 U.S. troops. American taxpayers are on the hook for tens of billions of dollars. And all Americans are facing dramatically higher energy prices because the Iranians have closed the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil route, to most tankers. In sum, the U.S. military is mired in a deadly conflict with no clear objectives or exit strategy. According to a report in the Washington Post, the new “goal” of the military campaign is to open the Strait of Hormuz, returning the region to the status quo before the war began. You are complicit. This is your legacy — and you should be ashamed. You were NOT elected to further Trump’s insane ambitions. You were elected to SERVE YOUR CONSTITUENTS — and claim you are proud to do so. PLEASE tell me how this illegal quagmire is serving your constituents. Or, more to the point, you should apologize to us.
