Lots of feedback on the presidential rant last night in front of Americans just trying to watching the season finale of Survivor. Biggest observation across the board…why? In my house we thought a drinking game based on hearing ‘Biden’ or ‘Democrat’ would be fun. Good thing we didn’t do it otherwise today’s hangover would be epic. Instead we decided to just tally mark mentions. But quickly lost interest even at that given the break-neck speed of delivery. The prez is angry we won’t acknowledge how great he’s made the world. And he was trying to beat us into believing with a firehouse of apocalyptic fiction. It’s not clear why this display was thought to even be necessary. It was desperate. It was manic. It was delusional. And full of more mis-truths than our brains could absorb. Detailing what happened after the cameras stopped rolling, a WH correspondent posted on X: “Donald Trump turned to his staff and asked how he did. They all responded [with] some version of great. ‘Very good, it looked really good!’” Of course they did. But we the people don’t have to. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles recently said that Trump plans to put himself on the ballot in 2026 by campaigning aggressively next year. If last night is Trump’s message, Democrats should help raise money to pay for his travel.
