Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) said that the "next" plan is to end Social Security and require the elderly to go back to work. Shame. We earned that money. I worked my whole life. I paid into Social Security for over 50 years. That money does NOT belong to the government. It is our money! How dare he say that? I heard him say it. There will be a serious consequence if you take away our Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. When Joni Ernst said we are all going to die, well, seriously, she can go first. You are all playing with fire. It will truly be interesting to see how your constituents react when they discover that ending Social Security, and Medicare is your real plan. Have you ever seen a sleeping lion rudely awakened? How about a sleeping rattle snake? I almost stepped on the sleeping snake. It is not recommended. Once your constituents wake up to find their Social Security gone, it'll be quite difficult to guide them back to sleep. Also, 80% of Medicaid people already work a full time job. How dare you tell them they have to work more? What are the poor supposed to do? What about the children? They have as much right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as you. Shame.
