The Trump Regime has announced today that they will be shutting down the National Park Service, and they are also trying to open up the Gulf of Mexico to drilling, leaving protected lands and protected species at risk. Project 2025 outlined these plans. Why didn’t we have guardrails in place? Please work with nonprofit orgs that protect these lands on lawsuits and collecting public statements so that we don’t lose millions of acres of precious life giving trees for some rotten, corporate agenda. Every day I hope we can’t stoop to a new low and every day I am made wrong. We quite simply cannot breathe without trees. Without experts in the Forest Service, especially during Wildfire season, all of our lives and land is at risk. Please stop this!!
