I’m outraged that the Trump administration has frozen federal funding for the Hudson Tunnel and Second Avenue Subway projects. These projects are essential for New York’s economy, safety, and climate goals. A politically motivated freeze like this punishes millions of commuters and workers. I’m asking Governor Hochul, Senator Serrano, and Assembly Member Bores to publicly condemn the freeze and coordinate a legal and legislative response to challenge it. Please confirm what actions the state is taking to protect these projects, including pursuing litigation or working with the federal delegation to restore funds.
