I’m urgently asking you to investigate reports of ICE agents operating without identification, in masks and plainclothes, detaining people without proper legal process. This is not only terrifying for immigrant families—it’s a public safety issue. These tactics create confusion and fear, and copycat impersonators are already emerging. We’re also deporting people into inhumane conditions—like the mega-prison in El Salvador—where they’re stripped, packed together, and denied due process. There are already confirmed cases of individuals deported despite legal protections, including one person the Supreme Court ordered returned. President Trump is now claiming he doesn’t have to comply with that order. That’s a direct attack on the Constitution and the rule of law. I urge you to: • Investigate and halt funding for unaccountable or rogue ICE operations. • Support the Stop Cruelty to Migrant Children Act, Access to Counsel Act, and New Way Forward Act (or state equivalents). • Demand the safe return of individuals wrongfully deported. • Treat the use of masked, unidentified agents as a public safety crisis. • Pressure corporations like Palantir and private prison contractors who profit from this cruelty. People are being disappeared. The rule of law is being ignored. We cannot let this stand.
