To: Sen. Cantwell, Sen. Murray, Rep. Larsen

From: A constituent in Everett, WA

January 24

I am a constituent urging you to vote NO on the FY2026 Department of Homeland Security spending bill. This bill would provide billions more in funding to ICE and CBP despite ongoing reports of detentions without due process, masked agents operating in com munities, and other abusive tactics. Congress should not expand funding for agencies that operate without transparency or meaningful oversight. torneys. I am especially concerned by reports of people being transferred to CECOT, a notorious mega-prison in El Salvador, without notice to their families or at Funding DHS without accountability enables further human rights abuses and undermines the rule of law. I urge you to vote NO on the FY2026 DHS bill and demand real oversight of ICE and CBP.
