Thank you to President Trump for pausing the de minimus tariff enforcement and overturn of the exception. Tariffs on small goods hurts small businesses who import goods to sell or develop other goods in America. The introduction of tariffs on de minimus goods will drive up costs for consumers, which will also hurt small businesses because there will be less discretionary income. Please consider keeping the de minimus tariff policy because it was a flawed democratic idea to get rid of it in the first place. Getting rid of de minimus tariffs creates more government oversight and bigger government. Thanks, and please keep the de minimus tariff exception.
