I urge you to support HB 426, the Native Habitats at Commonwealth Facilities Act. This Act would greatly help in safeguarding the future of Pennsylvania’s native wildlife, which provide us with so many free benefits. It would also encourage private and other public properties to follow suit in taking advantage of lawn spaces that would otherwise be wasted, leading to overland flooding, nutrient pollution, and soil compaction.
