No Israel/US Defense Integration, No on NDAA if Section 1217 is not removed

I'm writing to ask the Senator to oppose Section 1217 of the NDAA. Given Israel's actions in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and the illegal war against Iran it's wrong to legislate unprecedented US-Israel defense integration. Senators shouldn't support measures that give Israel-or any country-huge leverage over US defense priorities. This legislation will also make it extremely difficult for lawmakers, taxpayers, and future administrations to track and regulate US support for Israel. I expect the Senator to oppose Section 1217, and ask them to vote against the NDAA if this provision remains in the bill. Also, vote no on the $3.3 billion in security assistance for Israel. The Senator should oppose military aid to any country currently violating US foreign assistance laws - including Israel.
