Representative Golden, I hope you will reflect on your legacy as an enabler of Trump and MAGA fascism and try to do better in your last months in Congress. You have well and truly betrayed your oath to the constitution, your constituents, common sense and human decency. Your support for Trump tariffs which were both illegal and economically foolish can now be seen for the damaging and ill-informed misconception it is. Your support for the Laken-Riley act has enabled detentions and kidnappings to the point that more humans are now held in ICE detention than were ever in Hitler's camps. Your support for the SAVE act and refusal to change course when your factual errors were exposed made me wonder what you were doing in office. Most recently, your vote for an INSANE defence budget --one among a tiny number of Democrats-- is a betrayal of common sense and decency. How can a person how has sworn an oath to the Constitution enable an admininstration that breaks the law, defies court orders, spurns human decency and the international order, betrays allies and treaties. Why are you supporting this illegality and ruin at home and abroad? Please change course and aim at repair for your last months in office.
