I strongly urge you to sign the Medical Aid in Dying Act without delay. The overwhelming need for compassionate solutions for people in the final stages of life makes the need for this bill obvious. The needless pain and suffering that people facing terminal illness can be alleviated with your signature. Don’t let New York State be one of the few ‘blue’ states without a humane solution for the hardship many of your constituents are facing.
