I write as a deeply concerned constituent from Fort Worth, Texas, to express my profound disappointment in your recent vote on the so‑called “One Big Beautiful Bill”. The bill’s harmful rollbacks to vital programs like Medicaid, SNAP, and the Affordable Care Act pose unacceptable risks to millions of Americans in need. According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the bill would increase the number of uninsured Americans by approximately 10.9 million over the next decade. Medicaid alone is set to suffer a staggering $800 billion cut, jeopardizing health coverage for millions of children, seniors, people with disabilities, and rural communities. Other projections show this legislation strips Medicade coverage from over 10 million individuals and ACA coverage from upto 7 million. These are not mere statistics—they represent neighbors, friends, and hometown families who rely on these programs to stay healthy and financially stable. In my own community and across Texas, Medicaid isn’t a faceless government entitlement—it is a lifeline. 
 These voices echo a growing alarm among rural hospitals, clinics, and even urban health centers as they face closing or drastic reduction of services. Both the tax breaks for high‑income individuals and the cuts in the safety-net—with the human toll they invite—will define you and your legacy. Tens of millions face reduced access to healthcare, potentially reversed gains in insurance coverage, and heavier financial burdens just to stay healthy. Please: Reassess your vote that erodes critical support for healthcare and nutrition. Fund Medicaid and SNAP to prevent statewide disruptions. Extend ACA enrollment, preserve premium subsidies, and ease administrative burdens for households. I ask you to stand with your constituents, not special interests, by advocating for thoughtful, balanced legislation that does not sacrifice essential human needs.
