On our nation’s birthday, this July 4th, you have shown the people of PA where you stand. By voting for the big, ugly, bill you’ve managed to do the following this Independence Day: cut insurance for 500K Pennsylvanians, cut SNAP benefits for 1.9 million people in PA (most beneficiaries being either under the age of 18 or over the age of 55,) one in four nursing homes are at risk for closing nationwide along with rural hospitals, and 51,000 Americans will die each year due to becoming uninsured! (Not to mention you’ve raised the national deficit by TRILLIONS of dollars over the next ten years and you campaigned on a GOP ticket of “fiscal responsibility!”) All so the TOP 1% can get a $1 TRILLION dollar tax break!!! You have shown you only care about yourself, your own interests, and those of your cronies. You are a disgrace! You’ve betrayed Pennsylvanians and you are not one of us! Please resign NOW!
