I am writing to express my frustration over JD Vance’s trip to Greenland, which was a blatant waste of taxpayer money. While the official excuse claims this was meant to be a visit to the Space Force base, we’re not fooled. It’s clear that this was really an attempt to gain political support from Greenland residents—an effort that only ended in embarrassment. At a time when Americans are struggling with economic hardships, our government should be focused on solving real domestic issues, not funding pointless trips with no real benefit to the American people. If there was a legitimate reason for this visit, then we deserve transparency about its purpose and results. Otherwise, it’s just another example of reckless spending at our expense. I urge you to stop these wasteful expenditures and hold officials accountable for how they use taxpayer money. The American people deserve better.
