I urge ending harmful tariffs that are raising costs for consumers and businesses. The nonpartisan Tax Foundation estimates Trump's tariffs on imports have cost American consumers $88 billion annually. This protectionist trade policy is counterproductive, reducing economic growth and competitiveness. Free trade agreements open markets and drive innovation while tariffs act as taxes on American families and job creators. To protect our economy and workers, we must pursue fair trade without destructive tariffs penalizing US companies and consumers.
