I urge you to vote NO on the Pentagon's $200 billion supplemental request for Operation Epic Fury. The war cost $16.5 billion in its first 12 days. At that rate, $200 billion funds only 100–200 more days with no defined endpoint. This request primarily replenishes weapons stockpiles from a campaign that has struck 7,000+ targets, yet the Pentagon offers no clear strategy or timeline, and senior officials acknowledge Iran retains meaningful capacity to retaliate. This is an enormous opportunity cost. Pennsylvania has $8 billion in deferred infrastructure repairs, rural hospitals operating at a loss, and school districts strained by federal cuts. Nationally, $200 billion could fund the VA healthcare system for four years or close Social Security's shortfall for a decade — while the national debt sits at a record $39 trillion. Congress has not received a full accounting of the previous $150 billion Pentagon allocation and has not formally authorized this war. Approving more funds now sets a dangerous precedent. Vote NO and demand accountability before any further spending.
